Cheryl
Cheryl is Rescued Hearts Office Manager and has been part of the team since the doors first opened! She has one daughter, Ashlynn, whom she enjoys camping with and having many adventures! Cheryl also has some four legged children. Her Coon Hound, Opal, and one cat, Faith.

Heather S.
Heather started working at the clinic in 2011. She received her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technologies in October 2015 and became certified in March 2016. She resides in Green Valley with her husband, Frank, and son, Hagen. They have two dogs: Tonks and Walker. They also have six cats: Tracy, Hildee, Nox, Jenga, Stark, and Pepper!
Nicole M.
Nicole joined the Rescued Heart Team in 2011 and has been in the veterinary field since 2002. She graduated from Cedar Valley College in 2008, earning her license as a certified veterinary technician. Nicole enjoys spending every bit of time she can in the outdoors with her significant other and their two sons. They also keep busy with their dog, Yuka, and three cats.
Miranda
Miranda started her career with Rescued Heart in May 2015. She works as both a technician and a receptionist! Her family includes her boyfriend Vince and their two sons Andrew and Archer. She has seven cats, four dogs, lizards, and snakes!
Heather B.
Heather is a veterinary technician who began her career in 2014 in Fairbanks, Alaska. She was certified as a veterinary assistant after completing courses through Animal Behavior College and completing an externship in Alaska. She joined the Rescued Heart team in July 2016. She lives with her husband, Tyler, along with her daughter, Taylyn, on their cattle farm. Heather has a purebred mutt, Willow, and her trouble maker cat, Guppy. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, running, and riding her four-wheeler and snowmobile with her fiancé.
Katie
Katie joined the Rescued Heart team in 2015. She is a certified veterinary assistant. She obtained her certificate through the Animal Behavior College. Katie enjoys working with all kinds of animals, but especially fostering orphaned kittens. Her family includes her wife, Kari, her stepdaughter, Emma, six cats, and one dog.
Shay
Shay joined Rescued Heart in May of 2018. From a young age she knew she would always work with animals. Her journey began in high school, where she volunteered at an animal shelter before becoming an employee at age 18. She has been a veterinary technician since 2012 and brings years of hands-on experience and compassion to her work. At home, Shay runs her own mini zoo filled with all kinds of critters - big, little, furry, and scaly. She has a special soft spot for Frenchie’s and German Shepherds. In her free time, Shay enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, attending horror conventions, watching movies, and being outdoors.
Caitlin
Caitlin started as a kennel staff at Rescued Heart and is now an assistant. She loves to be outdoors hunting and fishing or with her dogs and her family. She lives at home with her parents, two younger brothers, and two dogs. She is currently going to school to further her education in hopes of one day being a veterinarian.
Jenn D
Jennifer joined the Rescued Heart team in 2019. She graduated from Parkland College with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology in 2007. Jenn loves living in the country chasing after her two boys and caring for all her critters. In her free time she enjoys volunteer firefighting, hunting, running, and riding her horses.
Nicole P.
Nicole joined Rescued Heart in 2020. She has been a veterinary technician since 2006. Nicole and her husband live on a farm with their kids, dogs, cats and goats. In her free time she enjoys camping, hiking and reading.
Breanna
Breanna became a part of Rescued Heart in 2021. She has graduated from Penn Foster with an Associate of Science this past fall (2024). She has three children: Addylin, Riley and Sylis. Three dogs: Saber, Bear and Milo. Two cats: Tazz and Gracie.
Kami
Kami began working at Rescued Heart in 2022 and is currently attending Bradley University for pre-vet! She was recently accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, which she will begin attending this fall. She has one dog, Cleetus. In Kami’s spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors and loves to hangout with her family and friends!
Aliza
Aliza joined Rescued Heart in July of 2024, where she has gotten to care for furry new friends every day and truly loves what she does. She is a vet assistant with a big heart for animals and a love for life’s simple joys. Aliza married her best friend, Matthew, in September of 2024 and they are always chasing new adventures. Together they have two Corgi’s, Tessa and Tatter. When not working, Aliza can be found - playing with her dogs, digging in the garden, riding four-wheelers, visiting family, or at antique malls!
Jordan F.
Jordan graduated from Parkland College Veterinary Technology Program in May of 2022 and became licensed as a Veterinary Technician in July of 2022. She married her husband, August in July of 2022, but they met in high school on the marching band field in 2015! They have a baby boy named Xavier who was born in November of 2025, and a sweet kitty named Miss Millie! Jordan joined the team here in May of 2025 and looks forward to caring for your furry friends!

Julie
Julie has been a receptionist at Rescued Heart since July of 2013. She and her husband Larry have been together since July 1990. They have two sons together: Dakota and Jacob. She has two dogs and three cats. In her free time Julie likes to spend quality time with her friends and family. She enjoys all things outdoors - camping, boating, fishing!

Jacy has been a receptionist at Rescued Heart since June of 2015. Her family includes her husband, Ryan and 3 children- Paxton, Finley and Tripp. She has two dogs, Charlie and Kya and her cat, Kabuki. Jacy enjoys live music and spending time with her family and friends!
Bobbie F.
Bobbie started working at Rescued Heart in 2016. She has been a receptionist for many years and loves working with animals. Bobbie lives with her husband, Joe. Bobbie has two children and five grandsons. She enjoys riding on the Harley, reading, baking, and the outdoors, and she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Chelsea
Chelsea joined Rescued Heart in October of 2018. She now works as a receptionist and serves as our Adoption Coordinator. Chelsea has a deep love for both cats and dogs, making her role in helping our rescues find their furrever homes especially meaningful. At home she has two cats, Miss Kitty and Rose, and a Standard Poodle, Titus. Outside of work she enjoys music, reading, traveling with friends and attending concerts.

Alexis joined Rescued Heart in 2021. She has a son named Julien and one cat furrbaby named Sushi. Alexis enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and painting!

Kari joined the Rescued Heart team in Oct. 2013. She began working with animals in 2010. Kari likes to foster orphaned kittens and has a soft spot for the geriatric pets. She graduated from PCHS in 2002. Her family includes her daughter, Emma, her spouse Kate, 7 cats: Blackie, Rachel, Alex, Izzy, Elliot, Whiskey and Bourbon and 2 dogs: Sage and Havoc. Kari enjoys spending time with her family and putting her artistic abilities to use when not working.

Ashlynn joined the Rescued Heart team in 2018. She is currently our daycare attendant and has recently graduated from Animal Behavior College as a dog trainer! Ashlynn lives with her longtime boyfriend, Ronnie. In her spare time she enjoys all things arts and crafts and reading.
Jayla
Jayla became part of Rescued Heart kennel staff at the beginning of 2021. She is a huge animal lover and enjoys seeing all the new furry faces in boarding! She enjoys fishing and spending time at the lake with her dog, Layla.
Kinnzii
Kinnzii started her journey with Rescued Heart in 2025. She has always had a love for animals since she was a little girl. She has proudly worked in the kennel setting for five years and will be continuing her education by starting Vet Tech school this summer. She loves spending her free time cuddled up on the couch with her dog Locks, son Elias and boyfriend.
Haylynn
Haylynn joined Rescued Heart in January of 2024 as a part of the kennel staff. She loves the opportunity to make a new furry friend each day! She is currently studying to become a veterinary technician. She has one dog, Biscuit. In her free time she enjoys; making music, days out with the rescues, shopping and hanging out with friends!
Isabella H.
Isabella credits her love of animals for joining Rescued Heart in 2025. She has three dogs - Chevy, Mae Mae and Boss. She is currently studying pre-veterinary medicine with dreams of become a vet one day! She fills her spare time at home with her dogs or hanging out with friends!

Ashlynn started her journey with Rescued Heart in 2025. She has always loved animals and has always wanted to help and care for them in any way she could! She has one dog, Oakley, whom she spends all her free time with. They enjoy going for coffee and pup cups, playing with her friends dogs, walks in the park, going on the boat during the summer and playing in the water! During every family trip, they always ensure Oakley gets to enjoy it just as much as them! Wherever Ashlynn is, Oakley is right there with her!
